We have all experienced things in our life that seem inexplicable. During Jesus’s ministry, He performed miracles, signs, and wonders to demonstrate His love and compassion for people by healing the sick, raising the dead, and walking on water. These miracles served as a testimony to those who witnessed Jesus's power and authority as the Son of God. The Bible is clear that the power of the Holy Spirit lives within those who believe and know Jesus! Jesus commissioned us, as His followers, to extend His love and compassion to the world and to witness the power of Christ through miracles, signs, and wonders. We have faith that God can do the impossible and is behind inexplicable things. As we continue to pray for God to move in what the world may deem impossible, we ask for God to open our eyes to see His power at work. There is power in collective prayer and belief! As we see the miraculous take place we will glorify the name of Jesus as the author of all things good. We join our faith for all things expecting Him to show up in our lives through miracles, signs, and wonders. Application/ Reflection: How can you increase your faith in God to show up miraculously in your life? In what ways have you seen God work unexplainably before? Who can you pray for who needs a miracle, sign, or wonder from God? Scriptures: Acts 4:29-31 Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness. 30 Stretch out your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus.” 31 After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly. John 14:12-13 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. Luke 8:43-48 And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years, but no one could heal her. 44 She came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak, and immediately her bleeding stopped. 45 “Who touched me?”Jesus asked. When they all denied it, Peter said, “Master, the people are crowding and pressing against you.” 46 But Jesus said, “Someone touched me; I know that power has gone out from me.” 47 Then the woman, seeing that she could not go unnoticed, came trembling and fell at his feet. In the presence of all the people, she told why she had touched him and how she had been instantly healed. 48 Then he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace.” Mark 16:20 Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed his word by the signs that accompanied it. Prayer: Lord, I thank You for Your glory and Your goodness. I thank You for your loving compassion! Thank You that You have a heart to heal, a heart for restoration, and a heart for life to the fullest. I pray that You increase my awareness of You today. I repent for times I have tried to take credit or claim responsibility for Your work in my life. I repent for my pride. I pray that You expand my faith for signs, miracles, and wonders. Speak to me today! Renew my heart, restore my motives, and transform me for Your glory. In Jesus' name, I pray, amen.
